الوصف
In The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014), the Elves have a huge advantage with their deadly archers, especially against a charging army. But the Dwarves came prepared with specialized battlefield machinery capable of shredding incoming arrows before they could reach them. Dwarven engineering really said, “You're going to need more arrows.” 💀 #TheHobbit #BattleOfTheFiveArmies #Dwarves #Elves #MiddleEarth #LordOfTheRings #LOTR #Hobbit #JRR Tolkien #DwarvenEngineering #MovieFacts #MovieDetails #FantasyMovies #MiddleEarthFans 539/5000عرض الكل

Imagine being an elf with the potential to lives tens of thousands of years and dying in this battle after ~200. If I was an elf I would not take part in any military until I’m at least 10,000 years old.

Elves stayed stuck in their ways due to immortality. Dwarves though long lived still had the ability to innovate of a mortal race. And after the last great war came up with this to fight armies that used lots of archers.

I love how tolkin was a antiwar advocate and made Bilbo lose conciseness on porpose in order to not glamorize war. Just for the movies to add new characters and make one of the movies about a battle.

I love how the elf looks offended Like “HOW DARE YOU DEVELOP COUNTER MEASURES TO OUR MOST EFFECTIVE SKILL!!!”
