    A “friend” who puts you down in front of classmates, other friends, or someone you like/have a crush on. It’s such insecure behavior and is so hurtful and embarrassing. This hasn’t happened to me since I was in high school, maybe like 15 years ago now, but I still think of it as such a lightbulb moment, where I realized that person had never really been my friend.
