คำอธิบาย

First patented in early 20th-century Germany, the Plattina No. 1002 stands out as a pioneering example of rapid, self-adjusting hand tool engineering. At the core of its design is a integrated rack and pinion linkage. When force is exerted on the handle during turning, the internal gear drives the sliding jaw against the fastener, instantly generating a high-friction clamping force. The harder the turning torque applied, the tighter the dynamic grip becomes—eliminating slipped edges and jaw slop. This enables seamless, one-handed operation across various nut and bolt sizes without requiring any manual thumbwheel adjustments. From an engineering perspective, it is a clever demonstration of torque-driven force conversion in a compact, hand-held tool. However, practical limitations prevented widespread modern adoption. The exposed gearing is highly susceptible to shop grit and dust, there is no automatic return spring to reset the jaws quickly, and precision gear cutting added significant manufacturing cost compared to standard adjustable wrenches. 🔑 Key Features: • Antique early 1900s German auto-clamping wrench design • Integrated rack and pinion gearing for automatic jaw movement • Self-tightening grip mechanism triggered by applied torque • Smooth one-handed fit on various fastener sizes • Exposed mechanical gear drive (compact yet debris-sensitive) Video reference from @poomsproject (YouTube) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/D2N0dyk_Oiw #Wrench #VintageTools #3ddesign #mechanicaldesign #mechanical #cad #toolsแสดงทั้งหมด

The strength of this wrench is seriously limited to the shear strength of those little teeth. This would be a handy tool but not for serious, heavy work. It's like a Ginsu wrench.

Sounds good, until you only have .3 inches of turn space and you can't get a grip on it

Прочность этого инструмента ограничена прочностью внутренней шестиренки,поистине тяжёлую работу он не выдержет,а в домашнем хозяйстве пригодится!
