For those who don’t know the story behind this incredible moment: this jaguar was found struggling in the Rio Negro near Manaus, Brazil, after apparently spending hours in the water. Exhausted and barely able to keep swimming, he approached the police boat and grabbed onto a floating support they extended toward him. What makes this even more heartbreaking is what veterinarians discovered afterward: he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, broken teeth, and had lead fragments lodged in his head and neck. This made me cry. All animals need our help! Usually their injuries are due to human negligence!! Litter, cutting down trees, roads chemicals polluting our water. It's terrible. We owe it to them to help them when needed
