Take a look at the all new 2027 Porsche Mission S. Porsche has unveiled the 2027 Porsche Mission S, a concept car previewing a new mid-engine supercar platform positioned above the iconic Porsche 911. Revealed in New York as part of the German manufacturer's Sportwagenschmiede ’35 strategy, the Mission S signals plans for a permanent Porsche supercar range rather than another limited-edition hypercar. The Porsche Mission S concept combines futuristic styling with design elements inspired by legendary models including the Porsche 911, 911 GT1, 959, 917 and 928. Its low-slung body, muscular fenders, round headlights and integrated active rear wing emphasize performance and aerodynamics while preserving classic Porsche DNA. Inside, the Porsche Mission S interior prioritizes driver engagement over oversized touchscreens. Five circular instruments sit behind the steering wheel, featuring an analogue rev counter that moves closer to the driver depending on the selected driving mode. Physical switches complement digital controls, while a retractable MagSafe-compatible smartphone system replaces a conventional central infotainment screen. According to Porsche, the Mission S previews a new generation of mid-engine sports cars designed to deliver a more direct connection between driver and machine. The concept also reflects the brand's commitment to lightweight engineering, motorsport-inspired technology and timeless sports car design. Porsche has not yet announced engine specifications, horsepower figures, pricing or a production release date. For now, the 2027 Porsche Mission S remains a vision model, offering an exciting preview of the company's ambitions to expand its high-performance sports car lineup beyond the 911. #porsche #MissionS #recanything #recda #recdanovoa
