The first earphone is designed to completely hide inside the ear. Instead of using a 3D printer, I made an exact mold of my ear using molding material and silicone, then cast the final shape in clear resin. I modified and miniaturized the original earbud electronics so the speaker, circuit board, resistors, capacitors, LEDs, and touch controls could all fit inside the tiny resin housing. For the second earphone, I also reduced the electronics down to a very small size and built it into the end of a pen. This creates a tiny wireless microphone that can be positioned close to the mouth while both devices communicate wirelessly with a smartphone. I also modified the original charging case so both custom earphones can still be charged using the same case. This DIY electronics project combines reverse engineering, wireless earbud modification, electronics miniaturization, custom ear molding, silicone molding, clear resin casting, soldering, and extremely small-scale assembly. Everything was built by modifying the original wireless earbuds and carefully fitting the components into their new custom housings. If you enjoy DIY electronics, miniature electronics, hidden gadgets, reverse engineering, and unusual engineering projects, you'll probably enjoy this build. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– #DIY #SpyEarphones #InvisibleEarphones #WirelessEarbuds #Electronics #PenguinDIY #jlcpcb #pcbaShow all
